Accuracy of Information
Kansas offices, schools, utilities, and carriers change phone numbers, hours, addresses, and procedures without much notice. Numbers get reassigned and departments reorganize. Three things make this harder in Kansas than you might expect. The State of Kansas Online Communications Directory, the employee whitepages, is offline for maintenance until further notice, so the usual way to confirm a state number by name is not available. All 105 counties keep their own contact lists, and no two county sites are laid out the same way. Dialing rules have moved as well. Since October 24, 2021, a local call in the 620 and 785 area codes takes all ten digits, a change made to free up 988 for the crisis line, while 316 and 913 are still listed by the Kansas Corporation Commission as seven-digit dialing areas. We do our best to keep our pages current, but we cannot guarantee that every detail here is correct at any given moment. Before you rely on a number you saw on this site, call the office directly to confirm it.
